Le festival du péristyle

Every summer, the free Festival du Péristyle brings four weeks of music to the arcades of the Lyon Opera. With two concerts each evening, the programme spans world music, DJ sets, singing, cello and accordion, ranging from afro-funk to cumbia by way of rap and maloya. The event is especially popular for its free admission and convivial atmosphere right in the heart of the city.
