Le Son des Pierres unfolds over several weekends in September across the Luberon area, in and around the villages of Apt, Saignon and Saint-Martin-de-Castillon. Its programme blends traditional, contemporary, jazz and improvised music through concerts, workshops, dances, dawn musical performances and sound walks in the forest, drawing on the natural resonance of the heritage sites it uses. The atmosphere stays warm and convivial, encouraging encounters between audiences and artists among stone villages.
