About
Founded in 2005 in Fontenay-sous-Bois, near Paris, under the patronage of former Téléphone drummer Richard Kolinka, Les Aventuriers runs over roughly ten days in December across the Espace Gérard Philipe and Salle Jacques Brel venues. Rock remains its founding spirit, but the lineup likes to mix genres, from pop and electronic to hip-hop, French chanson and reggae fusion. The festival is also known for its Jeunes Aventuriers showcase, which helps discover emerging talent.
