Overview
About
Les Francophonides is held every year at Parc Jean de la Fontaine in Pierre-Bénite, south of Lyon. Run by the association Échanges Francophones, founded in 2005, this open-air festival celebrates French-language song over two evenings of concerts featuring well-known headliners. It is part of a broader effort to promote Francophone language and culture, also carried out through Francophone Week in March.
