Les Goualantes

Les Goualantes Théopolitaines take place in Villedieu-sur-Indre, in the Indre department, usually in October, celebrating street song and traveling performers. The festival brings together street singers, barrel-organ players, musicians, painters and puppeteers throughout the village's streets, alongside a market, craft stalls, old-fashioned games and dances. A parade of children dressed as gavroches and poulbots traditionally caps off the Sunday.
