Maoré Jazz

The Maoré Jazz Festival takes place on Mayotte and brings together artists from the Comoros, mainland Africa, metropolitan France and Réunion. Launched in 2005, it favors an open take on jazz that blends with the island's traditional music and regional influences while giving space to emerging performers. Organised in part by the M'tsapéré volleyball club, the event keeps a festive, freewheeling spirit.
