Melbourne International Jazz Festival

Founded in 1998 after a first edition in 1997 as the Marvellous Melbourne Jazz Festival, the event runs for about ten days across several Melbourne venues, including the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and Hamer Hall at Arts Centre Melbourne. The lineup mixes leading international artists with emerging Australian talent, through ticketed concerts alongside a few free events.
