MEO Monte Verde Festival

MEO Monte Verde Festival takes place on Monte Verde beach in Ribeira Grande, on the island of São Miguel in the Azores. One of the archipelago's main summer festivals, it offers an eclectic lineup spanning pop, rock and popular Portuguese music, with artists such as Xutos e Pontapés and Calema. It draws more than twenty thousand festivalgoers each year and stands out for its focus on accessibility, including Portuguese sign language interpretation of the main stage.
