The Metal Frenzy Open Air has been held in Gardelegen, Saxony-Anhalt, since 2014, on an open-air site near the Erlebnisbad where the camping area sits close to the stage. The festival focuses on metal in its various forms, from death and thrash to metalcore and industrial, and has hosted acts such as Agnostic Front, Subway to Sally and Kataklysm.
