Moers Festival

Founded in 1972 as the New Jazz Festival Moers, this festival takes place every year at Pentecost in this town in North Rhine Westphalia. It has become a major European gathering for improvised and avant garde jazz, while broadening over the decades to include world music and hybrid forms.
