NXNE

NXNE (North by Northeast) is a music festival and conference held every June in Toronto since 1995, with a particular focus on Canadian bands. Dozens of the city's iconic venues host hundreds of artists over several nights, built around discovering future headliners rather than showcasing already-established stars. The festival, which pays every performer, has hosted artists like Feist, Lizzo and The Weeknd early in their careers.
