Obscene Extreme

Obscene Extreme is held every summer in the Na Bojišti area of Trutnov, Czech Republic, a festival devoted to grindcore, death metal and hardcore punk founded in 1999 by Miloslav 'Čurby' Urbanec as a birthday party. It has grown into a landmark event on the global extreme metal scene, bringing together cult bands of the genre in an unusually friendly and tolerant atmosphere, with food on site kept strictly vegetarian and vegan. Free entry for children under 14 underlines the family spirit the festival claims despite the brutality of its lineup.
