Overview
About
Oslo Jazzfestival was founded in 1986 by Aage Teigen, initially centered on traditional jazz, Dixieland and New Orleans styles. It has since broadened to embrace every strand of jazz, spreading dozens of stages across the Norwegian capital and including a number of free open-air concerts. As the oldest running festival in Oslo, it now draws tens of thousands of visitors to hear hundreds of musicians from Norway and abroad.
