Oslo World

Founded in 1994 as Verden i Norden before being renamed Oslo World in 2017, the festival presents music from Africa, Asia and Latin America, ranging from Tuareg blues to Sufi devotional music and punk. It takes place across several Oslo venues, including Sentrum Scene, Cosmopolite and Parkteatret, pairing concerts with a program of talks. It has operated as an independent foundation since 2012.
