About
Pescara Jazz is a summer jazz festival held annually in Pescara, in Italy's Abruzzo region, since 1969, making it the country's first summer jazz festival. Concerts take place mainly at the Auditorium Flaiano and the city's tourist harbour, with a program pairing major international jazz figures with emerging talent. Over the decades the festival has hosted artists such as Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis and Chick Corea.
