Phoenix Festival ran from 1993 to 1997 at Long Marston Airfield near Stratford-upon-Avon, organised by Vince Power of the Mean Fiddler Music Group. Positioned as an alternative to Glastonbury, it spread across several stages mixing rock, hip-hop, jazz and electronic music, with headliners including David Bowie, Bob Dylan and Björk. It ceased after 1997.
