About
Prague Sounds, founded in 1996 as Strings of Autumn before being renamed in 2022, is a genre-crossing festival held in concert halls and clubs across the Czech capital, spanning jazz, electronic music, hip-hop, contemporary classical music and singer-songwriter projects. It often hosts Czech premieres of both established and emerging international artists, past names including Herbie Hancock, Philip Glass and Jon Hopkins. A distinctive feature is its floating stage set directly on the Vltava river, introduced during the Covid-19 pandemic.
