Release Athens Festival takes place every summer in Kallithea, in the Athens metropolitan area, at Plateia Nerou. This major rock and contemporary music festival brings well-known international artists together with Greek bands over several days of open-air concerts. It draws large crowds, making it one of the leading rock and electronic music events in Greece.
