Rhino jazz(S) festival

Founded in 1979 in Saint-Chamond, in the Loire department, the Rhino Jazz(s) Festival is one of France's oldest jazz festivals. Each autumn, from late September to mid October, it presents around fifty touring concerts across some thirty towns in the Loire and Rhône departments. Its mascot, a rhinoceros painted by Saint-Étienne artist Jacques Barry, has appeared on the festival's posters since 1991.
