Rock in opposition

Held at the former mining site of Cap Découverte, in Le Garric near Carmaux in the Tarn region, this festival is dedicated entirely to the Rock in Opposition movement, born in the 1970s around bands such as Henry Cow rejecting record industry conventions. Its lineup brings together progressive rock, avant garde, fusion and experimental music, continuing that European countercultural strand.
