About
Founded in 1970, Ruisrock is Finland's oldest rock festival and one of the oldest in Europe. It takes place on Ruissalo island in Turku, a wooded nature reserve on the Baltic coast, whose green setting is part of its identity. The lineup mixes international rock and pop acts with the Finnish scene, across grounds split between a meadow section and a beach section.
