Saarihelvetti

Saarihelvetti is a metal festival held each summer on Viikinsaari Island, on Lake Pyhäjärvi, reached by ferry from Tampere's Laukontori harbour. Billed as one of Finland's most distinctive metal festivals, its character comes largely from this island setting, with the boat crossing forming part of the experience itself. The lineup brings together Finnish and international bands spanning death, black and other metal subgenres.
