Saint Jazz sur Vie

Founded in the early 1980s in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, on France's Atlantic coast, this jazz festival has grown beyond its original venue, the Conserverie hall, to also use the town church, the Cinemarine cinema and a dedicated village on the Port Fidele quay. Run by an independent association, its lineup centers on traditional jazz while making room for rock, gypsy jazz and gospel influences.
