San Hejmo Festival

San Hejmo Festival takes place on the grounds of a former military airport in Weeze, North Rhine-Westphalia, using its bunkers, forests and open spaces as a striking backdrop. Launched in 2022, it bills itself less as a pure music festival than as a show concept blending pop, hip-hop, electro and 90s sounds with urban art and street food. Its name, drawn from Esperanto, means 'sacred home', a nod to a language built to connect people across borders.
