About
Jazzaldia has taken place in San Sebastián, in Spain's Basque Country, since 1966, making it one of the oldest jazz festivals in Europe. Born during the censorship of the Franco era, it initially focused on classic and traditional jazz before broadening to bebop and contemporary styles. Concerts spread across several venues in the city, including a free stage on Zurriola beach that also features rock, blues and hip-hop acts.
