Smartlappenfestival Zwolle

Smartlappenfestival Zwolle is held annually in Zwolle, at the Odeon theatre, and was founded in 1991. It is dedicated to smartlappen, sentimental Dutch songs mixing laughter and tears, performed by participants on existing or self-composed melodies. Participants write their own lyrics and perform with a live combo.
