Founded in 1994 in Barcelona, Sónar is one of the longest running electronic music and digital art festivals in Europe. It takes place at the Fira venues in Montjuïc and Plaça d'Espanya, with a daytime programme built around experimental music and digital art and a nighttime programme featuring leading electronic acts.
