Founded in 1991, Sons d'hiver is a touring jazz festival held each winter across several towns in the Val-de-Marne department, with additional dates in Paris at the Musée du quai Branly and the Théâtre de la Cité internationale. Its lineup blends contemporary and experimental jazz with world music, featuring artists such as Archie Shepp, John Zorn and Steve Coleman.
