About
Founded in 1996 as the Shak Shak Festival, this event takes place in Basseterre, the capital of St. Kitts and Nevis, and has grown from a modest field into the Warner Park Stadium. Over three nights it brings together reggae, soca, dancehall, R&B, gospel, hip hop and afrobeat, pairing regional stars with North American acts. Originally created to boost tourism during the island's quiet season, it remains a major fixture on the Caribbean music calendar.
