About
The String Quartet Biennale Amsterdam (SQBA), launched in 2018, bills itself as the world's largest string quartet festival. Every two years, Amsterdam's Muziekgebouw hosts dozens of international quartets, both emerging young ensembles and established names, over a week of concerts, masterclasses and public talks. The festival also runs a residency programme that lets young quartets explore the repertoire and connect with other art forms.
