About
The Three Choirs Festival rotates each summer between the cathedrals of Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester, its three founding cities. Established from annual gatherings of these cathedrals' choirs in the early eighteenth century, it is regarded as the oldest surviving non-competitive classical music festival. Its choral and orchestral programme is staged mainly in the nave of that year's host cathedral.
