Vision Festival

Vision Festival takes place every year in New York, originally on the Lower East Side and later also in Brooklyn and Manhattan, and has run since 1996. Dedicated to free jazz and improvised music, it packs dozens of performances into a few days, combined with dance and poetry in a strongly interdisciplinary spirit. Growing out of the short lived Improvisors Collective, it has become one of the city's key events for experimental music.
