Wellington Jazz Festival

This festival turns the New Zealand capital into a citywide jazz stage every October, with a program spread across dozens of venues throughout Wellington. The lineup spans traditional jazz, contemporary fusion, bebop, Latin jazz and improvised music, pairing local musicians with visiting international names. Regarded as the country's leading jazz event outside Tauranga, it also spotlights Wellington's own strong homegrown jazz scene.
