About
Founded in 1965 by composer Andrzej Markowski, Wratislavia Cantans (Latin for singing Wrocław) is an oratorio and cantata festival centred on the human voice. Concerts take place in Wrocław's historic buildings, including St Elizabeth's Basilica, as well as in the halls of the National Forum of Music. Since 2013 the artistic direction has been led by Italian conductor Giovanni Antonini.
