Y Not Festival

Y Not Festival takes place in Pikehall, Derbyshire, in the heart of the Peak District. It began in 2005 as a private gathering called the Big Gin Festival, organised by Ralph Broadbent, before opening to the public under its current name the following year and settling on its present site in 2007. The line-up spans rock, indie, dance, punk, reggae and hip hop, with stages such as the Big Gin Stage named after the festival's origins.
