Overview
About
Ypsigrock is held every summer in Castelbuono, a medieval village in Sicily near Palermo, with its main stage set against the town's Piazza Castello and castle. Founded in 1997 by a group of indie and alternative rock enthusiasts, it is regarded as Italy's first boutique festival and a European reference point for indie culture. Its signature rule, known as "Ypsi Once," means no act plays the festival more than once in its lifetime, keeping the lineup constantly renewed against a striking historic backdrop.
