Aegina International Music Festival

The Aegina International Music Festival takes place each summer on the Saronic Gulf island, in settings such as Avra beach facing the Kolona archaeological site and the small Iasonas Molfesis theatre. Founded in 2006 under the artistic direction of pianist Dora Bakopoulou, it focuses on classical and chamber music, with thematic tributes to composers and occasional forays into jazz. It brings together Greek and international musicians, both emerging and established, in a heritage-rich island setting.
