About
The Ankara International Music Festival has been held every year in the Turkish capital since its founding in 1984 by the Sevda-Cenap And Music Foundation. It presents classical music concerts featuring Turkish and international orchestras, soloists and ensembles, with the opening and closing concerts traditionally given by a symphony orchestra. A member of the European Festivals Association since 1993, it aims to reflect the musical heritage of Turkey's capital.
