Beethovenfest

The Beethovenfest takes place in Bonn, the composer's birthplace, and traces back to 1845, the year his monument was unveiled in the city. Since 1999 it has run in its current form over four weeks each autumn, with roughly eighty concerts held at the Beethovenhalle and other venues around town, mixing leading international orchestras with cross-genre projects blending classical music and pop.
