About
Belfast TradFest runs each summer in Belfast, Northern Ireland, offering a week of concerts, pub sessions, workshops and ceilis centred on Irish and Scottish traditional music. Founded in 2014 by Ray Morgan and Donal O'Connor, it grew out of a respected traditional music summer school before expanding into a full festival from 2019 onward. It celebrates Northern Ireland's cultural diversity, bringing together established performers and emerging musicians around traditional song, dance and instrumentation.
