About
Blackwater Valley Opera Festival takes place in Lismore, County Waterford, where it was founded in 2010 as the Lismore Opera Festival. Devoted to opera and classical music, it stages its productions at Lismore Castle, its outdoor stage, as well as at St Carthage's Cathedral and the semi-restored Dromore Yard farmyard. Its programme brings together emerging Irish talent and international artists.
