Borealis

Borealis is a Norwegian festival for experimental and contemporary music held over five days each March in Bergen, running since 2006. It brings together concerts, sound installations, performances and talks that push at the edges of how music is made and heard, drawing on artists from Norway, Sápmi and abroad. Its youth programme, Borealis Ung Komponist, has guided young music creators into contemporary music, jazz and performing arts.
