About
Founded in 2005, the BWd12 festival brings together musicians from national orchestras and established soloists for chamber music each year in late August. Concerts take place at the château de Saint-Victor-sur-Loire, overlooking the Loire gorges near Saint-Étienne. Its name pays tribute to Bach, combining the composer's initial, the German word Werke, and the number of founding musicians.
