Certámen Internacional de Bandas de Música Ciudad de Valencia

This international contest for wind bands (bandas) takes place each summer at the Palau de la Música in Valencia. Founded in the late 19th century, it is now in its 138th edition and draws ensembles from across Spain as well as many foreign countries. Regarded as one of the world's leading events of its kind, it combines an official competition with honorary mentions and complementary concerts that bring music to the whole city.
