Founded in 1964, the Choriner Musiksommer is one of the oldest festivals in Brandenburg. It presents around fifteen classical music concerts inside the Gothic Cistercian abbey of Chorin, founded in the 13th century, featuring ensembles such as the Staatskapelle Halle and the RIAS Kammerchor.
