About
This early music festival takes place in the gardens designed by William Christie in Thire, Vendee. Led by Les Arts Florissants, the ensemble he founded, with Paul Agnew as artistic director, it focuses on French and English repertoire from the 17th and 18th centuries. Concerts are held on the water mirror, by candlelight, or as afternoon recitals in the park.
