'Two Days and Two Nights of New Music' has been held every year in Odesa, Ukraine, since it was founded in 1995 by the Association New Music. One of Ukraine's most important contemporary music festivals, it follows an unusual format of two continuous twelve hour sessions, separated by a break, mixing works by Ukrainian and foreign composers in an experimental spirit. The International Society for Contemporary Music ranks it among the year's major European musical events.
