Dover Lane Music Conference

The Dover Lane Music Conference takes place in Kolkata's Dover Lane neighbourhood and dates back to 1952, when local music lovers organised an initial three-night cultural program. Run by a voluntary non-profit organisation, it is devoted entirely to Indian classical music and dance. It has grown into a respected platform hosting some of the biggest names in Indian classical performance, distinguished by its longevity of over seven decades and its deep roots in Kolkata's cultural life.
