Escales brivadoises

Founded in 2002 by the association Musique sur un Plateau, this classical music festival takes place in and around Brioude, in heritage sites such as the Saint-Julien basilica and the Lavaudieu abbey, as well as outdoors in gardens and along hiking trails. The programme, centred on chamber music, opera and sacred repertoire, also includes small-scale concerts, some limited to around forty seats.
