About
Since 1951 the Eutiner Festspiele has staged opera, operetta and musicals on an open air stage set in the grounds of Eutin Castle, on the shore of the town's main lake. The festival pays particular tribute to composer Carl Maria von Weber, born in Eutin, and brings together around 250 performers from some twenty countries each season.
